Cumhuriyet managers were charged in relation to FETOism and held in detention for months charged with calling ETS Tur for reservations. The reason was the company's FETO ties. Now, however, ETS Tur's proprietor Mehmet Ersoy has become Tourism Minister. With relatives of those undergoing FETO-related investigations unable to go abroad, Bekir Pakdemirli, whose brother has been detained in relation to FETO, has been made Agriculture Minister.
